I need a new clutch and having never really got involved in buying aftermarket clutches before i really don\'t have an idea what i\'m doing on this subject...

I am sitting at around 280 bhp and have no plans to increase, the car is everyday use so i need a \'traffic friendly\' clutch, i have no idea whether to use a stock clutch or something else....

I don\'t really want to spend over £500 on it as i don\'t think its really necessary wih the lack of mods i have.

Has anyone got one of these or had one of these clutches?

Its an ACT (zx3-hd00)

Could this be what i\'m looking for?

I would be very gratefull for the advice

i was having a gander at the various clutch threads (put it in search) & while there\'s not much info going around i recall mention that someone didnt like ACT, my current plan is to get a basic exeddy as seems rather popular/well recieved & only slightly more expensive than standard un & have been quoted £500 fitted at WGT which is what the current plan is to have done on Friday. I\'ve just gota hope http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/im/kyfc.gif\' border=0> it doesn\'t now snow & also decide if i want to do anything more extreme & or go for a lighter flywheel etc as well....
I\'ll letcha know how it goes & i\'ll be giving it a fair portion of abuse http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_114.gif\' border=0> on sunday at Silverstone.....

You should probably go with the stock clutch - no real reason to put anything else in if you\'re staying with atock power levels and not giving it a complete drag-strip stylee thrashing.

Pretty cheap too.
