can you people tell the exact model of the car by looking at the VIN number? my car is a JDM one, and all that the seller knew about it was that it\'s an RX-7. our importers ( we have like 5 of them) that import these don\'t know much of the RX-7\'s they buy

Look in the drivers door. Should be a sticker with the model of rx7 with the tyre pressures.

i think all that there is are those pressures. I\'m wondering thisbecause i have 2 oil coolers for example. The car was not sold to me as typer R or something like that

There should be a box with model too.

If not do a search. There are quite a lot of threads that explain the differences in the models.

The type R did have twin coolers. They changed spring rates and interior configurations too between the type R, R2 and RZ models.

ok. the thing is that the car is 03/1993 model. that\'s why i\'m wondering it as i somehow have that thing in my mind that there was no twin ooil cooler model in 1993. eventho, everything the car has seems to bethere from factory.

can you tell me whta is that pipe that connects to my cat? there is a small pipe going into the cat under the car. i think there was something else going to the exhaust under the car but not 100% sure. just had a quick look when i did the non seq mod

grinder

on the FC there is a pipe off the air pump that connects to the cat - it pumps air in at idle and keeps the emissions down

now the FD has an air pump - so that COULD be it

im not 100% sure as i drive a FC :D

so it means i will get rid of it as soon as possible/when i decide what exhaust to buy. We don\'t need to get the Rotary engines emission tested here EVER as our authoritys look it like a 2 stroke engine as it has similar lubrication system ;)
