finally!

Hey all,

Its been a while since I posted on here mainly due to my poorly car being off the road.

Well I have her back now after 6 months of little/major repairs and it feels good.

Unfortunatley it hasnt been good on the pocket so I think she\'s gonna have to go  

Anyway, not sure if anyone remembers my last thread where I mentioned it was a new Apexi ECU I needed. Well that got done and I drove her home happy - well I was happy. Got back from Pips and the car started throwing white(ish) smoke out the back on idle (and only idle that I could see).

Next day I checked and it was still smoking but coolant was fine etc. Anyway to cut a long story short about a week later I notice coolant had dropped while she was sat and I had a slight leak on my rad. So, that comes offf and I put a new (second hand) rad on and top her up etc.

Idling fine but still putting out smoke.

I noticed the air pump was making a few strange sounds and was only making those sound when the white smoke was coming out.

I located another air pump and back down to Pips she goes....

Pip changed the air pump and it still smoked BAH!  Pip checked a few other bits and it turns out both my Turbo\'s were shot.

ARGH!

Anyway got another pair in finally (Pip got a good second hand pair in luckily) and now shes home ! yay!

She just needs a clean lol

So in the last 6 months I have replaced - air pump, electric aerial, battery,Apexi ECU, Commander, Radiator, various hoses and 2Xturbo\'s.

Its hurt the pocket I can tell you.

Anyway just thought I would let any interested parties know before I shove her up for sale this week. I will endevour to put a thread in the for sale section here before I risk the jungle that is autotrader.

The Wife wants me to keep the car (strange eh?) but many factors have brought me to this decision (money not withstanding) For one I now travel twice as far to work each day and the speed bumps at work have doubled in height so I cant even get on site now even if I could afford the petrol hehe. Two, my daily drive is rusting up a bit so needs relplacing. And three she\'s 100% right now and I know if I was buying one I would want one with no mechanical problems.
