Just made the relatively short journey from Wolverhampton to Doncaster with very little drama.

The up-rated clutch took some getting used but i think i\'ve cracked it. I also managed to get my heel-toe technique down in the 1.5 hour drive home.

All i really need to do is lengthen the seat runners to accomodate my damn legs.

Again, thanks for all the help offered so far :)

Right, time to book it in for service and MOT at WGT for June!

Well done dude. Did you get the jelly legs when you got out at home!?  how was it on fuel on the trip home? doesn\'t matter really during the first few months of rex ownership you will be spending lots and lots on fuel!

I found that I could manage with the seat runners as they are but changed the steering wheel for a D shaped smaller one. Now i can bend my legs and its comfy in there. (im 6\'2")

You bought it without an MOT?

Nah it\'s got MOT but it runs out in the middle of June :)

I had a little pins and needles in my feet, i don\'t want to change the steering wheel really would rather keep it as stock as possible so i\'ll have a go at the seat runners.

I put £30 in it and i reckon i used about £20 of that to do the 90 miles, that was with some spirited driving joining motorways, haha!
