the 1st one is an absolute bargain

Both could be bargains, although as previously said look too cheap, The first one looks like he just wants to claw back his rebuild price imo. Which isnt really a bad thing.

There are bargains about but if you end up buyin a wrong-un you will end up spending more in the long run.

well its got a decent engine, its been well looked after the only problem seems to be the turbo\'s which i doubt will cost 2k to fix, they could cost up to 3-3.5 k to fix and it will still be reasonable

Ah crap ^^ i read it wrong. I thought that he means that he is running the Car with low boost because of the mods...:chat

Hmm if i add 2-3k it would be too much for me... got about 5k but want to save a bit if something goes wrong....

dthebuk

i think at the end of the day £5k wont get you a problem free car.

but 4000 miles is pretty much a new engine which the rebuild could have costed up to about £4k

but yes saving more is definitely a good idea with these cars, if you can only just about afford the car then the second you get a problem (which is quite likely) you\'re pretty much buggered :D

also i just assume that theres a problem with the boost, if not that cars even more of a bargain. Give the guy a call and see what he says (y)

well hm i thought it would be ok got the 5k in cash now and about 400 a month just for the car.hehe call him is easy to say.hehe the prob is that i cannot check the car cause i live in germany

dthebuk

your best bet it to ring re:worx (where the work was carried out) and ask them a few qu\'s about the car. Then if you really are serious about buying it ask if he can take it to reworx for a check, who will then tell you what the cars like. This will cost money though. Other option is to be really nice to a member that lives near the car and ask them to go check it out.

good luck!!!

I have put it up for £5000 as i need a quick sale due to buying a new(boring, slow) car.

Could maybe give some website discount;)

dthebuk

looks ace, love the un modified look

does it have 60k on the rebuild or 60k on the chassis?
