I know the search button "is your friend" however i can\'t seem to find the answer to a couple of queries i have......

After rebuilding my overheated FD engine and refitting it i\'ve had to re-wire a few connectors that have either been butchered previously or overheated and broken up. i\'ve managed to sort most of it, all i need to know is:-

the wire colours of the two wires that go to the connector in the under side of the upper inlet manifold?

and the wire colours of the two wires that go to the purge control solenoid?

also if anyone has any pictures of FD engines asssembled in cars without the UIM on they\'d be greatly appreciated too, just to check correct fitment of hoses, clips, etc etc......

I know this seems like a niggly little thread but i\'d really appreciate all your help as i\'ve owned the car 2 years and only driven it for 6 weeks.......

Im guessing you mean

Intake Air Temp Sensor (Under the UIM)

Green / Brown Black - According to page 34

Purge Control Solenoid

Black White / Green Yellow - Page 34

The wiring diagram shows you all the connectors and their position, should be helpful for ensuring all the sensors are wired up properly...
