fitted my pfc at the weekend and followed the guide to let it learn etc, however it still hunts at standstill, but not too bothered about that from what ive read on here about the bled screw, etc, however when i drive it feels like i have pretty much no boost until the 2nd turbo kicks in then the universe goes into reverse!!

i dont have a boost control as im not going to use the car till i can get it mapped but does the pfc come with different base settings for the turbos or is more likely to be a boost leak - altho there wasnt this problem when i was using the stick ecu and knightsports ebs4

any help would be appreciated!

so many pfc users out there, 20 views and no replies?

Well, it\'s not much help but I\'ve just installed a PFC with no changes to the engine, no boost controller and I get loads of boost on both turbos.

So it should all work OK.

cheers for that!
i think ill have to start hunting around for possible boost leaks somewhere.
how long does it take for your car to boost?  does it spool up pretty much right away?

ive noticed that i barely hear my dump valve any more (if at all before 2nd turbo) where it used to be very audible, the only time its quite audible is up around 4-5000rpm

So you removed the EBC? My guess is that you haven\'t wired the rat\'s nest up right for the original boost configuration that the PFC needs.

Well in this weather I\'m getting good boost from 3000 rpm onwards easily, but there\'s not much traction out there so not going mental ;)

Also my exhaust is quite "boomey" at lov rev with a lot of throttle, so I normally shift down rather than rely on boost.

i did as much research as possible before i took the ebs4 out the car and the rats nest didnt need altered, the unit just plugged in between the stock ecu and the wiring harness, with 1 hose connecting to the engine to read the boost.  all that i removed was stock ecu, knightsports harness from the loom, boost hose and digital gauge.

i was thinking maybe the stock set up on the pfc controlled the boost different, but seems it didnt so now thinking i have a leak somewhere?
