Engine Rebuilds

Is there anywhere closer to Newcastle area that rebuilds rx7 engines???just very costly to have it transported etc.

Closest specialists we have are Lindop in Cheshire and WGT in Northwich mate.  You could always ship just the engine or buy a re-build engine and get a local company to fit it?

Im shipping my own to Lindop for March and transport companies are a nightmare.  Mine has promissed to half the cost if they can get a job heading back to the northeast from closeby, however they are taking the p1ss with the amount of time they are searching.

May just have to bite the bullet...

I am going to use ANC and they have quoted me £80 to get an engine from mine to london and as long as its anywhere in England then cost will be the same.  It would cost you half that in fuel so in the long run it just might be easier.  Think \'Parcels to go\' use DHL and they are cheap as well.
