Ok, Ive got a 1990 fc3s which i believe is running the 13bt with the intercooler mounted on the top.  Im not en engine man nor a mechanic (which is a shame) lol, but i need to get to know the layout of the engine better etc, is there anyone out there that has labelled diagrams or pictures of the layout of the engine so I know what im looking at?  For example thermostat location, what each of the pulleys are for etc etc as Im a newbie but I need to get to know how how maintain the car better etc

Might be good as a sticky for nebies aswell?

Thankyou guys

best thing is to spend hours and hours and read all the posts on this forum !!!!  seriously though buy a couple of good books and also buy a cd which has all the manuals and info on them.  This will be the best £40 you will ever spend.

The haynes is a pile of doggy poo, ok for basics but the mazda manuals have exploded pics, complete noody guides on fixing things and has a tonnes of info that you will need. I still have a haynes but only because it came with the car.  Ebay is the best place.  Also be careful because some of them only do the FC up to 1988, i had to buy a seperate cd for the 89-91 models but to be honest its only the engine and electrics that changed.

Please download them to your comp;
1) Uses less bandwidth of the guy hosting them
2) You don\'t want to be searching around on here again in a few months time when you cant remember which HT lead goes to which plug!
