I have read on here that using a 10% mix of ethanol in your fuel will help you get your car through the emissions test as last year mine was around 8-9%CO. IS this true and if so where can i get the stuff from:3Confused

if you have an Apexi PFC you can lean off the idle when you do the test temporarily via the commander, do a search on instructions how to do this

i think ethanol does the trick but its where to get it from in uk..i have yet to check mine but i have put a smb 3.5inch system on mine with their high flow metallic cat as my emmisions were at about 7% as well

so ethanol is different to methanol?? Ive got loads of methanol for my water injection system. From what i understand after 2 mins of googling methanol is refined ethanol, or is that incorrect??
