i didn\'t need to take mine off, just bent the dials carfully and slid them over. If you have taken the needles off, then...1. To recalibrate is easier if you have an apexi pfc and commander, if not then 2. plug the cluster back in without the front face and the whole instrument cowl and the rev will reset to 0 when you trun on the ignition, the speedo calibration is a bit harder but there is a table floating around somewhere with rev, speed and gear values so you could guestimate that way (there are a few threads on rx7club.com about this method), or 3. borrow someones GPS which measures speed (tomtom etc) and push the needle back on at a defined speed. all a bit tricky whilst driving along though, be careful!

I dont think it\'s gonna be that easy tbh. The needles are weighted and perfectly balanced, without the needle on the splindle, who\'s saying it\'s ever gonna go back to zero? It\'s still definitly worth a try though

Cheers..

I have three sets of clocks at the moment so If the worst comes to the worst, ill just swap out the whole unit!

I did manage to get the dial on without taking the needles off but it kept fouling and had to play about with it before finally using some double-sided tape to keep it flat, thats when I knocked the needle off!

Thanks for the help, will no doubt be shouting for some more when I get round to fitting the clocks in.

I do think it looks good though!

I got a similar set and have hit a snag with the line saying "locate the live wire for the vehicles dash lights"..

Anyone know which wire this is??

Pictures would be much appreciated if possible!!

PS: My electrical skills are fduking useless, but hey, I thought I\'d give fitting these a go..

Easiest place to tap for a live round that area is the cig plug wire mate.

Hey guys,
Looking at the possibility of maybe committing to thinking about buying a set of these from ebay. My clock is currently in kpm, not mph. Does anyone know if this is this going to be an issue if i buy this kit?

Cheers!
