Hey all I\'m in a bit of a dilema Im in the middle of finishing an selling my mr2! an then purchasing my very first fd rex:Santa  now yesterday a mate of mine told me there was one going dirt cheap.........but its got a few things missing......well it needs alot of work which im not to fussed about as I can do bodywork myself. I have this pic of the engine bay and as i dont know to much about the glorious wankel I cant tell everything that is missing so off the top of the dome guys what else should be here I\'ve been told full gearbox drivetrain is in tact an working along with engine an both turbos

without a close up hard to tell but on first sight the intercooler is missing
fairly cheap to upgrade /replace as standard one is pants anyway but never never buy a rotary u cant hear running and see starting

Battery and battery tray-unless its been moved to the boot?,
Air pump and alternator belt,-alternator does not look like it\'s in right either!
Induction pipes to turbo\'s,
Some water coolent pipes and ast tank i cant see,
depends how cheep it is i would want to get that engine running befor parting with the cash!hope that helps any more pics of the car?

thanks guys it sounds like there is a fair bit missing which is what I assumed. I\'m looking to haggle the guy down to around.............£90 lol due to him desperately needing to get space! I\'m still not 100% in fact im only around 40% that i want it. Maybe I should just sit tight till my 2 and my crx sells.

90 for that is a steal! even if the engine is kaput you can sell the engine alone to a trader for a few hundrad at least! :Giggle then you break the rest of the car.

Most of the parts that are missing you can find cheap replacments for! such as the airfilters, if your not fussed flebay £30 (thats pipes and filters) or a 2nd hand stock box. The Smic come up for sale occasionaly on here for cheap too (posibly with pipes to connect)!

just get the workshop manual and take it slowly you dont want to get it wrong if its a "working" engine :driving

Overall sounds like you got yourself a fantastic project there :cool

If you go for it I have

all air pies to filter but no filters Also have ic pipes to standard intercooler and the belt and the bar thing that you will need. i also have the intercooler ducting.
Just gone Front mount so have a chunk of what you need.

I also have a good condition radiator if it doesnt have one, I see the top rad pipe is missing, dont have those but they are not expensive for after market ones.

You guys really are amazing on this OC unfortunately someone else has snagged them self a deal!!!!1 Not for £90 tho.....lol a hell of alot more £500+ ahhh well just got to wait for another but after the amazing response from the OC I\'ll defo be in a rx before april.....watch this space

yeh this is on ebay think it just gone for about 600. Can\'t say it is worth more than that with amount of work that needs doing to it.
