it looks like it\'s been there for a while!
i seem to think i have seen the number somewhere but can\'t think where.
Dave did it have a nitro cyl. between the seats? are you looking to snap it up at a grinder type price?

Can\'t help with the vert (I\'ve never seen that one before) but that looks rough in a badgers arse way. I\'d say that would have to be very cheap to be worth considering...

I know very little about the car - a friend says he passed it on his way to work, and is looking for a project car to work on with another friend.

I\'ve managed to interest them in the rotary scene, I don\'t think they are too bothered by the condition, as long as it\'s not super rusty underneath. I just wondered if anyone on here owned it or new who did.

I would imagine it\'s worth not much more than scrap value,as the hood needs doing, but it still has an engine in it. Also has the original BBS alloys too as far as I can tell

Yep, I was going to say that the alloys look original to me...

My main worry rust-wise would be that the car\'s been stood on grass for a while, and that does interesting things to the floor of a car. In a Fred Flintstone kind of way.

Looks like it has been stood for nearly 5 years!!  (Date of liability was April 2002)

well defo worth it just for spares and the wheels. Be nice to restore another to the road, too many being broken these days that are not even dead due to rust.

I agree, just a shame they are worth more as parts these days :(

I\'m sure this will change - FCs are IMHO going through the standard old car phase (well, in this case it\'s the "old car with an odd engine phase") and that always leads to tons of them being scrapped and cars broken. As long as the parts are used to keep the better ones alive I think we\'ll have to live with it.

could not agree with you more and infact its what I do.  I will only break a car if its the last resort........rust!!!! other than that I think it almost a \'duty\' to get them back on the road.  People think these cars are so special and so different but underneath they are all the same, share similar problems and off course have the lovely rotary engine.  One of the reasons why I have 4 TII cabs to my name. Breaking one to keep 3 others going and its working well.

Looks liek the bonnet is half open - I\'d recommend opening it up and seeing if the engine is still free :yes
