A friend of mine just passed no problems with one venting under the car ;) Not a dodgy garage either

But, it does sound loud, and pretty hideous if i\'m brutally honest. I\'d keep it recircing back into the exhaust  You\'ll regret sending it external if you ever want to get anywhere near a track.

they are def not a mot pass as the pipe is not exiting the car extertnally and should u have a flamer as some rxs are think of the consequences of several flamers under the car
most mot places prob dont know what they are and that they open and close

I was happier with my old setup being plumbed back in.  The noi when it opens is horrible and drowns out the sound of the turbo.

Id agree, mine is external and it really is a pleasant sound. Anyone I have had in the car thinks there is something wrong as soon as it opens up!

I had mine venting into the atmosphere when I bought the car, and the cacaphony this thing made was something else, I mean it was just unbearable.  I plumbed mine back into the the exhaust and it made such a difference.

I\'ve thought about plumbing mine back in. Mine also passed the mot in that respect, but again, almost certainly due to them not knowing what it was. It would be an MOT failure, no doubt.

How much would a custom exhaust specialist charge to modify it all to plumb back in? Ball park figures?

rx7veilside

i had mine done but as part of the work carl was doing on my car at a guess i would say about 100.00 as u need some flexible pipe as well

MOT\'s not a prob, love the sound of it on my m8s FD so think ill go along with it, if i do get fed-up i can always have it plummed back in.

any possibilities of venting it behind the front wheel kind-of like a side exhaust???
