Hi all,

I\'m looking to fit a new stereo in my FD, but want something that will blend in with the original ambience of the car. I\'ve whittled it down to a few Alpine units, but can\'t for the life of me remember what colour the interior lighting is with the lights on at night. unfortunately the car is in winter storage and about  50 miles from where i am at the moment.

Is it red or amber??? i relaise there\'s only a marginal difference in colour, but I want the thing to blend in and not stick out like a sore thumb when lit up.

better still has anybody got any shots of the interior lit up at night?:chat

Sorry for being a pain:2Confused

I have a 92 fd which has amber interior lighting. Some of the new Alpine units have Quad Ilumination, red, amber, green and blue whick may be better if you\'re still not sure.

My \'92 has red(ish) illumination, but it used to be green until RoTechniks converted the rest of the instrument cluster to match the UK-spec speedo.

The detailing (numbers etc) on the dials is red but the lights themselves are amber.
