Does anybody know what torque settings to use for the rear strut brace?

Provided it\'s not tipping down on the weekend I\'m planning to fit my new (to me) Carbon Fibre strut brace :InLove. Fortunately it\'s non-adjustable so at least I can\'t screw up that part, but I was wondering if anybody knows what the correct torque settings for the mounting bolts (well, nuts) are? I\'d prefer to have the rear suspension still attached to the car afterwards, apparently this is good for the handling...

Oh, and it\'s for the FD...

I don\'t know exactly but if you mean the bolts that hold the top mounts to the chassis I\'d guess 30ftlbs at the most, they\'re only there to hold it in place and should take very minimal force in any direction.

I found this out the hard way on my old MR2 when I snapped one of the studs with very little (so I thought) effort!!! Oops!!!

Of course, stand to be corrected ;)

as tight as u cn get it with a spanner works for me.. aint had the suspension fall of yet :D
The weight of the car holds them in place so the nuts are they really to stop it falling out when u jack the car up lol.. well thats my logic on it anywhoo..

I snapped a stud on a scooby doing it up and I was hardly trying.

As someone said above, just "hand tight" but not "FT" will do OK.
