Quote from: trotterKevin, would have been a much better idea, but flawed on three counts, the space saver that is in the car won\'t fit with the wheel size I have (would ruin diff), don\'t have a jack in car, and even if I did, the cars too low to get one under!  lol lol

Ahhh, abit stuck then.  The scissor jack that comes with the car would be low enough to get under your car, believe me!!...

Then just swap your spare with one of the front wheel and put your front alloy on the rear if your worried about the diff, job done! :burnout

T  keep the 2 fasteners that go onto the struts as i used my originals to fit new blingy strut brace with, original  comes with the new ones but they fasten a diferent way round but may be ok on yours didnt work on mine.
Better a shot brace than bodywork damaged.
I am away saturday probably around lunchtime not back until late sunday as its the MRC  xmas booze up (ooooops dinner) depending when you want the brace

will do Pete mate, will you be around on Friday night, say after 6ish?

Agree re: broken brace, I noticed one of the engine lifting eyes as well, but for same reason decided not to bother - would rather have paid 150 for new brace as opposed to xxx\'s for new engine mounts.
