Anyone got one of these in there car?
Thought it was a 450 first but I found the manual and the box in the car! Also found that it definately has the intellistart4 module fitted but I cannot get that to work? Firstly I need to disable the black jax feature as the alram keeps going off when I move accross my driveway! I can temporary get out of it my using the code but want to permanently disable it..

Can some one give me some help please.

Thank you

What? The concept 500 or Intellistart?

Are you moving across your driveway on foot? If so this would be a proximity sensor, Blackjax is an anti-car hijacking system.

okay.. maybe some of that was a little vague!!

When driving the car across the drive the alarm activates with 5 chirps so I gather that means the blackjax is initiated. If i press ** blank on the dash console it disarms and it\'s fine (i have noticed this is not the valet code on the back of the manual but it is the same factory code used for the concept400?).. But I want to turn the function off entirely. I think I was presing the *\'s and blanks the wrong way around last time so I need to check again.. but then I still have not been able to get the intellistart feature to work.. is there a seperate relay that may be faulty or do you need to hod the * button for a long time? Does the car need to be alarmed and locked for the intellistart feature to work?

Thank you

Ok, I found this from the manual:

If you have the BlackJax feature turned on, until you set your own PIN code, you will use the factory-set default code of “2.” To drive your car, you must
do the following:
1. Shut all doors, then start the engine.
2. Enter the factory-set disarming code of 2: ✱✱ blank (you may do this while driving, if you wish).
3. The dashboard LED will flash on for an instant to confirm proper code entry. You may now drive or continue driving the vehicle.
What you MUST do if you hear 5 siren chirps while driving
If you forget to enter your PIN code, the system will remind you 20 seconds after you begin driving by “chirping” the siren 5 times and flashing the LED.
At this point, you have another 20 seconds to enter your PIN code. When entered, the LED will stop flashing and the siren will chirp once to audibly
confirm proper code entry. If the proper code is not entered within 20 seconds after the 5-chirp signal, the engine will shut down as soon as you slow for
traffic or a turn. You may enter your disarming code even after the engine is shut down. Once the proper disarming code is entered, you will be able to
resume driving.

The valet code should be 4 digit number on a sticker on the back of the manual.
The intellistart is operated by pressing the assigned key on the fob (usually *), once, no need to hold it down, the indicators will flash once before it starts the engine. If the car is in gear, or alarmed, or the brake pedal depressed, or the bonnet or doors are open, it will not start. Hope this helps.

You are a diamond!

That answer my possibly problem.. I have no bonnet fitted!

Will aim to disable the blackjax as soon as possible all being well as it is a pain in the bum!!

Thanks again
