try pip at wgt i thinkhe has them also price approx 195.00 if you get one let me know if whoever fits if they mapped the ecu i believe it is possible  on the standard ecu cos i am toying with the idea myself

sophie23_98

d\'oh i mean let me know if they map your ecu that is if it is standard like mine cos i think it would probably be safer so you don\'t runlean

You can\'t re-map the stock ECU if that\'s what you mean - you have to go aftermarket (APEXi PFC or the like).

De-Catting is quite cheap but the ECU will be arounf £700 new plus mapping.

oh right i wasn\'t to sure with regards to mapping the ecu but after having my t2 de-catted if that is the right word it then ran lean so i was speaking to pip and asked him if there was anything he could so that it didn\'t run lean he mentioned something with regards to mapping it but i will have to check back with him to see if it possible

Hiya all,

If you cant remap ECU how do RE-Ayim..  remap their ECU\'s in japan.
And how do they do it?
Why cant we do it?
Because dont want to pay £700 for Power FC so this must be cheaper.
A standard RX7 with K&N filters, decatted setup would be perfect with minor ECU adjustments. Surely all we need is a reprogrammed E-prom swap?

Any ideas?

If im not mistaken Re-amemiya have their own ecu\'s, their equivalent to a PFC

michal marzec

Nope,

It\'s done on your stock ECU.

So what it comes down to is a newly programmed Eprom I guess?
But it looks like they still charge a lot for that too!

money, money, money!
