Hi All thought I would give you a last update now the car is on the road with tax, mot and has been to Rotorstock,

As some of you know we also own an RX-8 hence the colour choice and it\'s been interesting to put both cars together because obviously one evolved from the other, indeed look at the similar side window shape with the cars together.

The thing that I also like is that with the RX-4 Mazda wanted to not only show the world "look at what we can build" they also wanted to tell the world "it\'s Rotary powered" with RE badges something that was dropped until the RX-8 that now has Rotary symbols all over it.

When you look at the pictures with the cars together bear in mind that there is exactly 30 years between each model with the RX-4 from 1973 and the 2003 RX-8

Yep Crager SS, never seen these on any Jap car over here or anywhere on an RX-4 or 3, went for these as they started making them in the 1960\'s so they were "period" for the car,

Real pig to fit but I feel it was worth it, the offsets were all wrong and had to get from 4 to 5 stud but we got them buy re-drilling the rear axle and making special adapters for the front that kept the stock hubs and disc\'s.

Gone from 13" to 15" but kept the rolling radius close with lower profile tyres,

Been around these cars since I was 15 (used to do PDI\'s on RX-3 and 4\'s) and I was supprised not only with the shapes that have come across but also while stripping the car found many smal parts like clips n things that are still used on RX-7/8 \'s

i was thinking about cragar ss too, but here in Lithuania imposible to get them, found in USA, shiping, redriling - too much expensive.
so i bought Epsilon mesh JDM wheels, also old style. 16" will need low profile tyres too.
Clive - keep that beauty alive.
