Hi all , Sorry if there is another thread on this,  Me no find!

I would like to fit 17" wheels to the FC and there are 2 things,

A) How wide is Practical on the front if you are a bit Drifty in your driving style :Nono! .... and the offset needed.

I know 255\'s are possible on the rear, so would I be looking at 225\'s on 8s and 255\'s on 9s? ( front to rear ) or just stick to 225s?

B) What are these wheels? http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?t=141886

It will sound silly, but this is my only Shiny, clean and not a racecar.....er car!

Its an atmo, And will stay that way ( I have a RX2 Gravel car and a VR4 tarmac car so thats enough fast toys...) I do have a 13bT in bits, A spare VR4 intercooler, A Celica box, an LSD, A set of Cusco strut tops and KYB adjustables , Some springs......... No no bad thoughts!

you can run the normal FD option wheels,   8 inch front with 235 and 9 inch rear with 255 but you will need coilovers or narrower springs as the stock springs at the front front are wide.

35 off set fits but the back may rub so a 38 or 40 would be better.  35 on the front is fine with the right springs
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

I run 245/45\'s on 8x17\'s all round - and the tyres are nice and cheap as it\'s a common tyre size (AUDI TT, etc)

I\'ve got 8x17" on the fronts and 9x17" rears (from an FD)

When you run the 35 offset fronts, Are you using spacers ? Ive located a set of 8X17 Ford ticford ( AU falcon V8) wheels with a 36.5 offset.

They should have about 1.5 mm less clearance so Im thinking a 5mm spacer should make the world a Safer place????
