My 7\'s wiring is pretty shot so I\'m going to spend a day cleaning it all up & upgrading wiring inc. TB3. I came across this on ebay though:

Claims:

Increases Torque.
Connects to the vehicles intake manifold, engine block, headlights, cylinder head, alternator and transmission.
Helps the performance of the ignition system
Stabilizes the engine at high RPM\'s
Smoother idling and improved starting
Better fuel mileage with improved combustion
If you do not see a difference then I will take it back and do a refund including the original postage.
Works on MX3, MX5, MX6, RX7, Eunos, RX8, Revue, Demio, 323, Protege, Capella, Cronos, Sentia, Miata, Microsport, Cosmo, AZ-1, MPV, Premacy, CX-7, Navajo, Tribut and other Mazda\'s not listed.

Any truth to this?

I have read on different forums that they can help smooth your throttle response accross the revs,  and help some cars that misfire.  Personally, if it ain\'t broke......

Its worthwhile doing if you\'re installing decent audio into it, otherwise the main thing to do is add a fatter earth cable from alternator etc to earth.

Lets face it the wiring in the engine bay of a 15 year old car isn\'t going to be in amazing condition

Truesay... I guess anything is an improvement! :)

At the end of the day this just takes earth\'s straight from the battery negative to key points on the car, rather than relying on the chasis to carry the negative return current.

On an older car it will probably help, but don\'t neglect replacing the loom wires either - as these will be aged and less effective - and are more likely to be the cause of \'odd\' little problems as well.
