Hi, I have had 4 of these fc\'s. What is the best way to drive these cars? Is best drive in the higher end of the revs or drive it like you would a normal car ( change up at around 3000rpm). I know you have make sure they are warmed up before racing the engine. How long can I expect the engine to last without a re build? It\'s done 63k at the moment and has been looked after with regular oil changes every 3k. Sorry for all the questions just be good know once and for all!

It\'s not just rotaries you have to wait till they\'re warmed up before racing them: it\'s any engine!

When its cold drive it likes its broken.
When its warm drive it like its stolen. :Giggle

THe Egis don\'t tend to make much power until well past 6k anyway - mine were always warmed and then taken by the scruff of the neck and driven. (But don\'t hang off the limiter all the time obviously)

you have to red line it one a drive to clear out the carbon anyways - so thats how i drove the egi :D

Thanks for that advice! I do always drive very carefully when cold (as I do with other cars!).
