Due to stiff coil over suspension my cd multichanger is next to useless!! The first slight change in the tarmac and i get a remix of the tune i am listening to!

I\'m not even entertaining the thought of changing the suspension as cornering is way to much fun!!

Has anyone else experienced this and thought of a clever way of getting round the problem?
 or,
Has anyone seen a product that i could mount the multi changer on so i can at least minimise the about of jumping?

Cheers

What multi-changer is it, i have a sony 10 CD changer and dam stiff suspension and mines fine - its fitted to the rear seat back.

Its an Alpine 6 cd changer, its fitted to the back of the rear seats so you can flip it down from the drivers seat, i did have it fitted to the boot floor (if you can really call it a boot :D ). But it was just as bad there!!

Where ever you mount it you will always skip when you go over a large bump

swap it for a cached multichanger, then you wouldn\'t have the problem at all, it would never skip

I try to avoid the large bumps, which aint easy! Can someone please tell me what i actually pay road tax for????:reallymad

Its any old bump big or small!!

Cached? Excuse my ignorance but what its that?

davefrith

well not being an expert myself, but I think some models have memory in them to store 30 seconds or so of the track so if it skips it can carry on as memory chips can\'t skip

Thats one for the future then, guess i will have to listen to the radio until i can afford to replace it. New clutch and brake pads are first on the list. And the impending new house isn\'t really helping!!!

Think i will have to ask for a raise!! :D

Cheers guys, i have a couple of ideas which i will try in the meantime, if they work i will let you know.....
