Right i posted this question up a few months ago and everyone reckoned it was me just making a change from old car to new.

Im still finding it hard to turn the wheel not as in i cant turn it :D :D  but as in  just difficult !!! lol

i have checked under the hood and found that the fluid is low, topped it up been around a few miles come back  to find it leaking. cant pin point the actual area (due to my engine bay being so damn dirty !) but from what i can gather it must be split somewhere down by the neck of the filler.
anyone know if this is an easy thing to change ??

if so how much should i pay for a new/second hand one ??

any help appreciated :D:D:D

could well be, ive seen 2 FD pumps cracked at the base of the filler neck. Changing em is pretteays..whack the pulley off. then its 4 bolts to take the pump offf the bracket and then undo the 2 banjo connections.
second hand pump are usually around 10-15 quid ish. I got one you can have for a tenner plus post if you like..its not got a pulley tho.

Teighto you can buy power steering leak fixing fluid from most places like Halfords etc. I have never used the stuff myself but when I was buying a new battery a couple of months back for the wife\'s car I noticed it on display.

Not sure how good it is, if your leak is to big it may not work but if it does work it could be a short term fix until you get a new pump etc. The place I saw it for sale was Kimber Frictions they sell good\'s at trade prices even to us the joe-public. Hope this gets you going short term.......cheers Leigh.
