Fueling and tunning

This is the last question for today.. I promise!
Just a thought for furture reference.. Currently I run an R33 GTR and when that came over from Japan on the standard ECU it required the Ignition timing to be retarded by 2degs and running on super unleaded to stop detination and engine damage. If you go aftermarket ecu\'s the UK fuel can be mapped into it so no problem.. Is there a similar deal with the Rotary motor? Plus I think my ecu may have been tunned in Japan (see my other post \'FZX Garage\') Does this effects things more?

Yes, if you do get an aftermarket ecu (power fc) for the rx7, get it mapped on 95 ron and it will be fine. I wish i would have done this to be honest
