Right my home made Big Brake kit is moving along parts wise.

The new discs are going to be 32mm thick so does anyone know where I could get a spacer kit for my existing calipers? Or A set or RZ calipers (these are 32mm already)?

benRX7

I`m also open to other sugestions

I have a set of RZ calipers sitting in my garage doing nothing.:)

I might just take them off you then, what sort of price would you want. If thats farnham surrey, in your location bit, I could collect

Hadn\'t really thought about selling them until now so i\'ll have to think on the price. Yes thats Farnham Surrey, but the calipers are in Hereford atm.Can bring them to Farnham one weekend for you to have a look if you want? I\'m down the weekend of the 22nd of sept..

If there in good condition I don`t need to see them really, was just going to save on a bit of postage cost.

Let me know anyway, could part ex my calipers if you want :)

I think they\'re in good nick! They were stopping the car nicely before i took them off. Will pm you a price mate.Thankyou for the offer of the px,but i\'ve upgraded to 6 pots on my car,so have no need of another set.

Ben,  check they are the wider callipers as not all RZ had the thicker brakes IIRC
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

benRX7

Your right it needs to be 99 or newer

pete sparrow

Asked another  RZ owner that today as the old brkes looked nothing different to standard FD brakes.Mines pre 99 so will be the smaller type.Sorry mate.

benRX7

No probs mate, thanks for trying, I have some other possibilities on ebay at the moment

Jimjitsu

i dont think thats correct the rz had brake upgrades from 95 and its the disk size that changed not the thickness calipers are the same think its the hub thats different to allow for the bigger disk

antnicuk

i saw a 95/6 rx with the bigger brakes today,    they are 312 thick so the caliper is the same shape but has a spacer in it to allow for the thicker discs.

Cheers guys sounds like its a little bit of an unkown. I`ve bought some 6 pots I got from a mate for cheap just got to see if they fit behind the wheels once I get the disc bells made. One things for sure its gonna be tight
