Question for anyone running this, I know there\'s a few of you. I notice from the pictures it uses up the left side of the bay, just wondered how that effected your cold air feed ? From the pics it looks like the filters will be drawing hot air from the engine bay ?

It does take up the left, but I can only say my own experience I have very low airtemps. You could if you want draw could air from between the core\'s on the same side. Or if you got other lights, draw a pipe from underneath.

All I can say is, I couldn\'t be more satisfied. I eyed every kit I could see in Japan this summer. And none had the things this kit has. And it works sooo good!

Initial-D

Its one of the best kits out there but it comes at a price!
Cheers

Ha ha it certainly does ! I blame Miguel  for introducing me to products I hadnt seen before and then telling me its the Rolls Royce of V-mounts !

For that kind of money you can\'t rule out the RE Amamiya one or the R-Magic kit. The R-maigc one is as comprehensive as the revolutuon one form what i have seen so far. I\'m awaiting more details on both kits at the moment.

jm-garage: The difference between the R-magic one and the Revolution one is that you don\'t get the powersteeringcooler nor the Greddy elbow with the R-magic one, AND they are almost the same price. And with the RE-Amemiya one you don\'t get any of those nor the airfilter afaik. The cores themselves I believe will be just as good as cooling. But Revolution is the most complete kit.

Another thing is that I havn\'t seen a way to mount the AC on the R-Magic kit. Nor the Amemiya one, but there might be something I have missed.. Also, revolution does the Batterytray that goes with the vmount.

Your quite right, With regards to the R-magic you don\'t get the elbow and powersteering cooler hence the relitivley lower price on the R-magic version. So from that point of veiw yes the revolution in the most complete as you as. However the RE-Amamiya kit like most are built to order and there are other options avaible when you purchase, extras if you will.

The RE-A kit uses a Greddy core and the Revloution uses an ARC.

The reason that neither kit, RE-A and R-magic, have no mount for the AC is due to the fact they are aimed at all out racing applications where there is no room or want for the AC.

the cooler is only a bit of bent pipe which isnt really needed any way in england.  A greddy elbow is £60 is so i spose it depends how much more it it.

My inlet temps were way to high so have just a done a v mount, it cost me £50 for the intercoler and £20 to have some lugs welded on it. The car already had a PWR rad though.  The only thing i had to buy was some wire to extend the fan wires.

Will be running it on monday so i will see what the temps are like.  With the old set up i couldnt get it under 50 degrees on the motorway at 80 mph.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

jm: But hey, if they where just built for race spec.. revolution is just the same, but with the option of having the AC, and the difference in price between R-Magic and Revolution is almost nothing.  I know they are good!

The "only" choices you have with the revolution is for single or twin turbo setup, as it comes with two different sides on the IC core. And the optional battery tray.

All I am saying is that, as the difference in price is very little. you get most out of the Revo kit..  And as I said the RE-A kit performed one or two degrees better in temp in some test I read somewhere. So they are all very very good kits.
