Hey guys!!

im looking to go wider at the front and rear fenders. The three makers below are my options though the Feed front fenders  (since they are open where the brake duct is) draws to my attention.

1: Feed 25mm F and 20mm R
2: Vertex Ridge 35mm F and 35mm R
3: Burnout 20mm F and 20mm Rear

Does anyone know if 19x10inch +11 will fit the Feed front fenders?
How accurate are the wheel fitting specs in the Hyper Rev magazines?

The last one back in 2003 with the gunmetal Spirit R on the front, if you turn to the front of the page (couple pages in) which is the back in Japan it will show the Feed kitted spirit R FD has the SSR professors in 19x10.5 inch +12 offset fronts and 19x10.5inch +18 rears - Im thinking if they can fit those sizes at the front I can fit my wheels too.

Ive got -3 Camber all around with 19x8inch +24 fronts [235/35] and 19x10inch +11 rears [265/30] On my stock body, I flared my rears 10mm out and no more scrubbing, full clearance. Im planning to move my current rear wheels to the fronts (when I go widebody) and order a new pair for the rears 19x11inch +11. I plan to keep the camber setup.

I know im pushing it with the fitment, but Im daring to be different and my FD is just a street cruiser and maybe for shows.

How much wider is the ADGT kit? In the same hyper rev magazine there are two nice kitted FD\'s with the ADGT kit running 18x10 +15 all around and looks sweet.

I know a wider wheel at the front will affect the turn and handling but it doesnt bother me at all.

thanks

I have just gone through this pain with Burnout front wheels and some Volk GT-Cs. I tried to get 19x8.5 with offset of +17 on the front and they were a big no-no. Not so much the outer face of the wheel against the extremes of the arch, but the arc-angle changed for steering lock and therefore the front outer side of the tyre would rub on the front of the inner arch when at about 70 percent steering lock. Moving back to my old 19x8.5 +38 and I had clearance all round even on full lock, but the arches weren\'t filled. I am on Tein coilovers at factory height.

I hadn\'t even considered the implications of rubbing in my calcs, just how far they would extend into the arches. It surprised me a lot when my bodyshop phoned to say "we\'ve got YET another problem !!"

SO, I would be suspicious of going to 19x10s on the front, especially at +11 offset, it is bound to rub.

Thank you for your advice. I had the rubbing too but the cut out the bottom of the splash guard directly behind the oil coolers.

Here are pics from the Hyper Rev mag

this ones running 19x10.5inch +12 fronts FEED

this ones running 18x10.5inch +15 Fronts ADGT

This Feed kitted FD must be running 10inch all around with possibly low offsets too in 19inch.

10inch fronts here too, camber but dont know what offset

my current setup below, as mentioned above in my first post, planning to move the rear wheels to the fronts on a wbk feed f&r fender setup and ordering 11" +11 rears.

From Feed\'s site via google...

"Recommendation wheel offset value +35 (with main point processing +24~+22) rim width 9.5J"

What the hell main point processing means I dunno :)

I would scrap the vertex ridge idea, the front and rear fenders dont work without the ridge front and rear bumpers, as they stick out wider than standard bumpers.  Believe me I know!.... I had the vertex kit on mine and had to completely re-order the entire ridge kit as they could be mated to the normal vertex kit. :(

Origin labs do wider front and rear fenders too. 25mm front and 50mm rear.  Look sweet too:

But I dont think +11 will be good man.

Mine are 18x10 +25. Thats what feed recommend with inner guard processing. I am also not running the car super low.

I\'ll be fitting them in the next few days. as my car is back now.

Rears are same with a 25mm spacer.

That particular feed car I saw with 18x10 +18 and a 30mm rear spacer but i think the turn radius will just give you problems.

The Brown car was running 19x 10.5 from memory but the tyres were way undersize to give some clearance.

Also I don\'t know if any of those setups rub.

Russ.
