Searched on here and found that you can use a harness with the standard FD seats but it\'s not the best fit....

I have a KS roll cage and don\'t really want to change from the standard seats though.....what 4 point harness would fit?

Don\'t use a harness on seats that are adjustable in rake.  Harnesses should be used only with a fixed seat, that neither moves on rails, nor back and forth on the back.

The one thing that winds me up on TV programs is when people get into cars with harnesses that are loose, or the ones that clip into the rear seat belts.  Unless a harness is tight to you in the event of an accident you will move, and potentially kill yourself.  Hopefully Tony will back me up on the fact too many people have died from not having their belts done up!  If you can move your shoulders then they aren\'t tight enough.

As for a roll cage, not a great thing to hit in the event of an accident.  If you are going to do this, then might as well do it right.  I use Corbeau seats, and they fit fine.

Sorry to be opinionated on this.......but...

My Bride seat has rails which move back and forth, but i have an R-A rear strut brace with the loops for the harness. I\'ll be the only one driving it and the seat will not move, so will a harness still be ok?

No no thank you for the advice!

So as I have the roll cage already installed are you saying to do the either/or? Either get a complete single unit seat with harness or just stick to the norm? The roll cage it being fitted with thick foam as we speak and tbh, I don\'t like the single unit seats.
