Take the drivers seat out and unplug the connector. Then bridge both terminals of the connector with a piece of wire and tape it up which will turn the light off.:Thumbs-up

Quote from: Red LeaderAll i could find regarding MOT\'s & Cat\'s is this.
"On 1 January 1996 petrol engine vehicles equipped with catalytic converters and registered after 1 August 1992 became subject to the new CAT emissions test as part of the MoT. Only Green MoT stations may carry out these tests. Those vehicles registered prior to 1 August 1992 fitted with CATs are not subject to the MoT CAT emissions test. There are some vehicles registered during 1993 and 1994 which may not be catalyst equipped."

Puts me in the clear as mines a June 92:)

The above is for UK car\'s.

Jap Imports up to August 1994 can still be put through the non-cat test which is 3.5%co and 1,200HC\'s.  Post this date then they will have to go through the cat test which is around 0.5%co and 200HC\'s IIRC
