I much prefer going bareback!!  :)

(but I would be tempted by some of the GT style rear wings, but only tempted!)

Thought it looked like your motor mate.................

I was bare arsed for a long time until I bought my GT wing.. .. Now the wings been on it looks so weird when I take it off... all my mates tell me the RX7 NEEDS a GT wing and I have to say I agree :D

Rzla

its all about the GT wing
NO DOUBT
rx7 and gt wings are a match made in heaven
it does no look as good on any other car as it does on the rex

I had a look at the standard RX spoilers (in fact I\'ve still got one in the garage) and they\'ll do sod all. which is why I\'ll be racing mine like this:

No spoiler and I\'m not worried about rear grip being an issue. If I wanted (and was allowed to fit) a proper wing I\'d be looking one //www.motorsportads.co.uk for an ex F3 wing or similar - problem is that you would more than likley mess up the front/rear balance and suffer from a lot of high speed understeer.
Most high speed stability (or instability) problems come from ride height, poor damping and toe. Worn dampers are a bugger for making a car feeling wandery at high speed, and to much toe will make the car feel floaty or darty.

Just my opinion but i think on my car no spoiler looks odd.
Will post up some piccys, not very good ens mind but you will get the general idea.
Took it off so i could drive around a few weeks to see if i liked it but took me 30seconds to put it back on.

Spoilers have a massive affect on cars........negative and positive, you have to understand the fundamentals and physics of them otherwise they will be as much use to you as a chocolate teapot........:2Rolleyes

Took mine off after a guy who used to be involved with F1 informed that the particular one I had would have had zero downforce, probably the opposite, and would just slow me down :) Needless to say it came straight off. I\'ve still got the runners on at the moment but they\'ll be sorted sometime soon:

Go bare arsed, it looks great like that.  350Z looks better without the spoiler too.  After reading the article about drag and lift I\'ve got no quarms about removing the spoiler, will still fit a diffuser though and front canards will help too.

Anyone want a 96 spoiler?
