Hey guys well the waterpump gasket/or pump its self gave way (still not fixed the cutout problems, but hey prioritys first) Ive started to take the waterpump of but hit a small stumbling block, before i get the crow bar out and start attacking things, how do you take the waterpump pully off? as i have not beenable to get enough purchase onto the bolts above and to the left of it with it still being there, Tried two socked sets and spanners cant get enough leverage to break them free. ive left them soaked in wd over night so hopefuly they are easy to crack tomrow :2Rolleyes

but to be short. does that brown thing in the middle of the waterpump pully just pull out to give access to presumeably a bolt underneeth? :2Rolleyes
I woof in your general direction.

Have a look at the picture to see how to stop the pump spinning with a square screwdriver as shown or a flat strip of metal while you crack the bolts one at a time,

Then you will find you can hold the pulley with your hand while you wind out the now slackened bolts,
All the best Clive

Cheers clive, so i see from your pic it should be possible for me to remove the waterpump from the car without actualy pulling the pulley off! ill give it another go tomrow. failing that off the pulley comes. :wave
