Hi all :WaveBye

Will an FD steer and handle like a pig with 9 inch wheels on the front and 10inch wide on the back?

Cheers

Jit

yes!!! i had some speedline mistral wheels on my car which were 9" on the front.... i took them off within the week! Tramlining was worse than a lorry and they rubbed! i prfer using the 8js all round..i dont even like the 9 on the back which my car has now!

I tried to match FEED\'s setup, they run with 9.5\'s (with spacers) and 255mm rubber all round.

I have 9\'s on the front with 245mm wide rubber.
On the back I have 9\'s with 265mm wide rubber.
No spacers and well calculated offsets :)

No rubbing but I do have wide arches as well.

I noticed slightly heavier steering at first, but I\'m used to it now.

Hmmm bit unsure now then, dont wana mess up a good handling car...but they are gorgeous 5 spoke, gold centred volk rays!?

Whatever you do get it laser aligned after fitting them. I\'m running 8.5inch on the front and the tram lining under heavy braking was annoying. After the laser alignment there\'s a huge improvement.

I think it is down the the setup as Bulla says. Feed\'s car is a track car and they\'re obviously happy with 9.5s all round so it can\'t be that bad :) This is what I\'m going for.

mine has 9s on front with 235s and 10s with 275 rears no problem at all drives well and doesnt rub i am on standard suspension though:cool
