question about side indicators

Basically I am after a replacement for a front side indicator (not sure if theres a proper name for these, if anyone knows please correct me as it would be useful)
Now I wanted a smoked one as thats what I have the other side, I cannot find ANY at all it seems, even clear or orange ones, but I have found the rear side indicators, which when I look closely on my car, look as though they are the same as the fronts. Can anybody confirm if this is true? and weather they will fit on the front with no problems?

If memory serves me correctly ford focus or ford probe ones fit, i\'m pretty sure that\'s what i fitted on mine!:D
Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of an rx7.

They dont look the same, but possibly its just a image they use for all repeaters. Has anyone ordered from here before who can describe what fitment was like, or at least how good the company are?

nevermind, realised they are actually side repeaters, not the bumper side repeaters

Just had a little look, and neither probe or focus side bumper indicators look the same. Just to clarify im after the side indicators, not the fronts.

yeah your right they do, I was just looking, I really havent made the last posts clear lol, I need side indicators for the bumper, not the side side indicators.

Does anyone know if rears bumper side indicators and front bumper ones are the same?

Still not sure what you\'re getting at. The repeaters at the front of the car are part of the same unit at the side lights so you have to replace the whole unit?

Or do you mean the fake running lights which are towards the back of the front bumper?

sorry I know I\'m bad at this, but hopefully this will help



the bit im talking about is on the side of the bumper, I am unsure if its a real light or just there for looks.

I think he means the quater lights. In the uk and japan, these are reflectors, but in the usa, they light up, orange on front and red on rear.

yeah they are the bits I mean, does anyone know where I can get replacements of these? black by preferance, otherwise I am chancing some rear ones on ebay that will hopefully fit there.

The rear ones won\'t fit the front. I have seen these on ebay a few times.

Surely you could take them off and spray them the colour of choice?

Even use len spray for the same effect? It\'s what I was thinking of doing...

lol, yeah the orange side side etc.. are just reflectors undo one screw and they pull out.  Just spray them! ;)

I have fitted both the Rear Bumpber reverse lights and the small side repeaters but not sure how to change the front reflectors as the orange ones fitted on my FD don\'t seem to have screws in them.  However, the Black finish ones I have have screw holes.

Any ideas??

Any chance of a pic of those lights you bought in and working i was thinking about some of them myself ;)
