Worth doing a search on this. Hurley\'s have been mentioned before.

My 20b is still running fine almost 4yrs since rebuild. Another engine near me has just been rebuilt with Hurley seals quality looked good on all parts and after sales service was good.

that would be mine. his sales is great and his gear is good but as he didnt rebuild my engine so i cannot comment on the workmanship, apart from if kev ant broke it it has to be a good job.

Hi Guys,
I have recently had dealings with Hurley engineering, they rebuild my present engine. OK I have only done 6.5K on it but I have had excellent service from them and it runs perfect.  I had an issue with an oil metering pump nothing to do with Hurley\'s rebuild that he sorted no fuss and at a reasonable price. Just recently I had pressure in the cooling system and was told by a Mazda main dealer and loads of others, that the Water seals had gone. It turned out to be a loose clamp on a hose and crack in the plastic drain plug of the rad that was sucking air in under certain conditions.
The service shown to me by them I cannot fault, the problem was explained in a way that I could understand, as I was concerned that the "Water seals had gone". I am a fussy old bugger when It comes to my cars, they have to be spot on, I will not except shoddy workmanship or service from anyone. I will however be going back to Hurley for my services and car repairs even though its a 250 mile round trip.
I too was concerned by all the "bad press" that seems to appear when their name is mentioned, all I would say is that my own recent experiences with them have been very good.

Hi
I would like also to support Hurley.
My 89 Turbo II ( 13B ) had one of their standard rebulids fitted at 89,000 mls. The car has now done 140,000. For the last three years the car sat in the garage waiting for some TLC. With a fully charged battery I set about getting the motor started, thinking it would take forever to start.
Blow me once the fuel pressure was up, the car started first time. Will shortly be taking it for compression test but after the above I dont think there will be any prob\'s.!!!

I think in the past there have been a few very bad reports from Hurleys,

However everyone deserves a second chance and it seems Hurleys are deffo getting their reputation back on track and deserve credit for that :D  long may it continue.

And also over the years nearly every rotary specialist has had a bad review but also loads of happy customers too :Thumbsup!

Another one for the thumbs up for Hurley- did a rear wheel bearing for me a short notice with no grumbles at all.

I am delighted to hear some good reviews of Hurley, perhaps they have learned lessons regarding the power of the internet ??

I had a bad time with them and someone who does me over only has one bite at it. I would never pass any trade there way. :flamed
