I have to confess to not using the T1-Rs on the RX-7, I had a track setup Prelude that was quite light and when out on track they were awful, 2 laps in and the sidewalls turned into blancmange.

I\'m no racing driver but I\'m certainly no slouch around tracks so my tyres to get a good bit of abuse.

The 888s are meant to be very very good though

Yeah I can\'t remember what my friend called it but basically I think they shave them down to about 4mm of tread to stop them being crap on the track
