Rotecnics existed before MRC, never heard a bad word..........only on how much they charge, but, as the saying goes you have to pay to get quality.

also consider carl hayward as mrc members get 5% discount

AtomicRex

Check out their labour charges....I think from memory they are quite high.

Id second Carl.....he is exceptionally reliable and you get nice little discount

I\'ve bought both my RX-7s from RoTechniks, been happy with the service so far and they\'ve been seeing rather a lot of me recently...

Had my Rex serviced at Rotechniks a few times, no they are not cheap but piece of mind isn\'t cheap.  They weren\'t as expensive as I thought but it depends on what you want done.

My local Mazda Garage charges me £85 for oil and filter change, Rotechniks will cost about £175ish but you\'ll get a full report of their findings (if you want to know that is!) and they\'ll check spark plugs and all sorts for you for that.

175 for oil and filter change is disgusting its not even a hours work more like 30mins with a ramp

NurburgRob

It wasn\'t just oil and filter, it was a \'Health check\', plugs out etc.  You\'d be amazed at what was discovered, most garages get the job done in 5 minutes and charge you hours.  I like to go away from a garage knowing the state my car is in, especially a RX-7!

I use them a lot, very convenient as I only work about 2-3 miles away, but David & Co are very competent.

As has already been said, they will tell you exactly what needs doing, and if you are on a budget, they are happy to use good used parts where appropriate (welcome to the Land of the FC - where new parts are rare and very pricey !!)

They are easy to work with, accomodating, and I have never had to go back because a job was not done properley.

They get my thumbs up ! :Thumbs-up

I have had my fd services there many times, David knows the stuff however they are very expensive and you will always somehow come out of the garage having spent around £500 - with out failure !!!
