Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm Systems

I am currently researching options for Thatcham Cat 1 alarm/Immobiliser systems and was wondering what systems people on here may have used and what feedback there is on reliability.

The Microscan AN550 system appears to be good value however I am unable to find any impartial reviews of it to judge how it compares with other systems from manufacturers like Toad.

Any thoughts/comments much appreciated.

I used a guy on ebay, and he turned out really good. He knew about using larger gauge wires and did a fantastic install. I have recommended him to another guy on the forum, but never heard from him since. Here\'s the link
