Has anyone used the NGK performance spark leads?

Which are the right plugs for a non-turbo: NGK BR10 ET or NGK B10 EGV?

Matt

i really struggled with off the shelf leads for the FC

i tried about 6 sets and non fitted

there is chap in the states who sells them - they are about $34 - which is sooooo cheap and come in loads of cool colours

i ended up with magnacor leads @ £60 ( it was then i saw the US ones :( )

Il try the email route, if not il phone.

Try and avoid the cost of the call.

Be good to get some new plugs and leads sorted!

Thanks alot for your help.

I got them leads from Kingsborne.

Theres 2 x Leads labeled Number 1, ( one long, one short ).

Theres 2 x Leads labeled Number 2, ( one long, one short ).

Am I right in thinking the plugs one the rear rotor (near bulkhead) are Number 1 plugs, and the plugs on the front rotor (near rad) are number 2 plugs.

Matt.

E-mailed Kingsborne and he directed me as to whaich ones go where, thats all fine.

Just wondered is there such a thing as performance coil leads ( the two from the ignition coils to the dizzy ) and are they really needed?

If spark leads are upgraded and the coil leads left standard will this cause any inbalance, if you know what im saying?

Matt

grinder

so how much were they in the end ( inc P&P ) ?

and it wont make a difference with aftermarket leads and stock coils - i ran like this for over 3 yrs with no probs

That\'s good to know then.

£ 32.93 inc p & p.

Tried them last nite and they seem to expose a bit of the plug, think they just need a good push?!

I e-mailed kingsborne today about that,  they open @ 3pm UK time, so they hopefully will get back to me then.

Wires seem cool though, bit of colour under the bonnet, when the Greddy strut brace is bought, engine bay will look quite respectable!

Matt

:)

grinder

what colour did you go for ??

they do a HUGE range from what i can remember

Them particular wires come in black, blue, red, yellow.

My cars red, so i went with red, looks cool.

I should get round to putting some pics up on the site really, or a link to a some pics.

I was asking about the coil wires because I thought if the ignition wires werent upgraded you would have the same firing to the spark plugs as standard, cos the ignition wires are the same.

And plus, would be cool to get them in a different colour like blue or yellow to complement the red.
