ello...

recently noticed a loud knock (single knock) coming from the front right wheel / suspension / brake area when braking hard...

any ideas what it could be..?

my (very limited) guesses are possible wheel bearing, dodgy suspension bush(es), loose brake caliper (dunno if that last one is even possible LOL)

worried.

doubt its a bearing as they tend to squweal especially round a corner.
I hada caliper clunk once, it was on a bike and it was were abolt had come out and just one other bolt held it in, and it clucked as it was trying to throw its self off the disc. Worth checking if loose. Could be a bearing for the arms or suspension, maybe the joint at the top of the coil over, had to replace Chloes a while ago for a clonking noise.

ok ta... will stick in on axles stands and have a look at the calipers (only had the front brakes changed recently, so maybe somethings worked loose)

if its not that, guess I\'ll get it looked at :( again.

i had exactly the same. check your bolts for definate. dont want to have the calliper fall off at speed!!

RedRummy

turned out it was one of the suspension arms.... loose bolt

Glad you found it.
Just had a bush come out of my idler arm on the steering that also made an aweful noise.

RedRummy

i\'m sure my calipers/pads are a little rattly though...

PS - I\'m gonna have one of your carbon triple dash pods off you...

be rude not to since I whined about it so much :D
