I have just found out that my plans for the car won\'t work when it comes to getting a Knightsports(or any other racecat for that matter) as they very often melt in europe due to very high exhaust temps. The reason for me to get one was that I am worried about boost creeping, and I know that they are a good way of making sure that doesn\'t happen.

I think I remember some blankingplates when I looked at a friends twin turbos a few years back, and I thought that it might be possible to fit an external wastegate to them.
If not, do you guys have any other good ideas of how to get away with no boostcreeps, except for porting the internal wastegates.

My plans regarding car, and in particular the exhaust is getting a FEED silenced midpipe instead of the cat.
And what I have now is
Revolution Vmount kit, incl Rad,IC,Power steering cooler,Greddy elbow,Greddy filters with hardpipes,800cc primary,850 secondary,SARD 280l/h fuelpump,Apexi Power FC,Greddy Profec BII,RE-Amemiya AST,Odysses pc680 battery,Revolution Battery box,Greddy catback and FEED downpipe.

What do you think about potential boostcreeping, and what on earth should I do!

Thanks in advance.

Um I don\'t want to ask a stupid question, but why do we have higher exhaust gases over here? Lower Octane fuel?

Shouldnt the Profec Spec B II keep the boost creep in check ?

Why not just enlarge the stock wastegate if your getting boost creep, you should be able to map it out anyway.

allstaruk: I know I can port the existing one, but having an external one would make it alot better I think,
And then it\'s a matter of me not being able to use the car if I have to send it away on enlarging.

Yes I think the Profec will keep the boostcreeping from occuring, but just in case.

And regarding the melting cat and other problems, I think it is because they have a higher ron rating. I know alot of people over there that dont even change injectors with alot of mods, and never has a problem with anything.
I think I just have to move there alot sooner than I was originally planing. :P

I would gess you would have to run that setup betwene 0.9-1.0bar on the stock wastegate.
