The A/C of my 1994 Rex doesn\'t work so I had it re-gassed and was told that the gas was not circulating. I took the car to my local garage who diagonised that there was a blockage and the condenser had a leak. The question the guy at the garage asked was:

" does the system have an orifice tube or an expansion valve"?

I obviously don\'t know does anyone?

Thanks   Matt

I thought the FD aircon was a closed system... and not \'re-gassable\'

PS - my FD\'s aircon recently seemed to stop cooling so I thought it was nerfed.

It has an expansion valve, non circulation could be due to moisture in the system, a kinked pipe or damaged condenser.Ask the guy to do a pressure test with nitrogen if that holds up then a good vac should remove the moisture then regas.
