ricco - yeah i think so

say it fails on welding on the monday - and you take it to get fixed on a wednesday and get pulled

if you can prove that its going for a repair then you are OK

you would have to prove that its booked in for work doing ref the MOT

ha ha ha its booked in for friday morning 9:30 - so fingers crossed eh
