I\'ve got a question....

If you look in this picture..

You\'ll notice the lower of the filters sits very close to the radiator hose. Does this get quite hot? If so, is there anyway to some how wrap the hose in something to try and prevent the filter from getting as much hot air as possible?

There originally is a metal plate covering the radiator hose, but it has to come off to allow the IC to fit.

Cheers.

Get a smaller battery and move the intercooler over a bit...........

Can\'t really move over. It\'s where the intercooler is designed to fit.

What would be the best idea? Get some metal put between the filter and pipe?

This is what I removed (you can see it below the filter)..

As you can see, there\'s no way the IC would fit there.

I think I\'ll get me garage to make something up which sits across the top of where the hose is and up the side of the IC slightly. Then get some cold air feeds.

Any other suggestion?

I was gonna say I could move the radiator hose, but there\'s no where else really for it to go. Or is there something I could wrap the hose in to stop as much heat coming out as possible.
