its on the secondary fuel rail (the long thin fuel rail)

In the first picture, right next to the blue ign lead on the table (on the front of the table above the drawer), theres a green plug right next to the engine mount. Thats the fuel temp sensor there on the secondary fuel rail.
The second pic shows (sort of) where the secondary injector rail is in relation to the primary rail. (the red plug is on the primary rail)

If your running a PFC then you dont need it.

It was the PFC that made me aware it was faulty as the heat light is on in the dash............???????????.

Isn\'t the heat light being on normally caused by a problem with the heat sensor on the cat, or lack of.

Hi Mate,

It\'s decatted.

When you fit a PFC the light is used as a warning light for any potential issues i.e knock, detonation etc. I done a check and the cmmander has highlighted the fuel temp sensor.

The heat light is used as a knock warning light. Mines not connected (1680cc secondary kit) and dont have any issues.

Now I\'m totally confused..............lol

My PFC has picked up that this faulty, Do I need it connected....?????

I am running single on stock boost 0.6 bar with 850cc primary injectors...

its no hastle to just connect it and cable tie it to the rats nest, that will solve all problems
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

12.3 second 1/4 mile, terminal speed of 122mph (1st ever drag run on a TO4R)

engine built by....... umm me! now powered by a T51 Kai......

If you\'ve cut the wiring (or there\'s a short in it) for this sensor you\'ll get an error light. If you leave the sensor connected but not actually in the fuel rail, no error. I\'ve not actually run it without the sensor plugged in so couldn\'t say whether that gives an error but as it\'s the same as cutting the wires then I\'d guess it would.
