you could ask one of the vendors for advice, Carl might help

I would assume that the pressure/oil volume is regulated by the smallest diameter within the feed in total - in other words, even if you feed is too big, it will then be governed by the opening within the turbo - you won\'t be able to force more oil through that hole than it can take. That\'s what A-level physics has taught me! :p

Where did you get the turbo from? Is it definately brand spanking new? Even when i was over oiling my turbo, I was only get small amounts of oil through the seals at higher rpm.

what size is you oil return pipe???

are you running a breather system/catchtank???

Hi LRP,
I have only just spotted this.
The oil feed line may need to have a restrictor in it to prevent over pressurisation of the bearings.
It is also most important to have a big drain from the turbo to the sump.
What is your drain tube diameter?

Carl

cheers carl the fed pipe is 3mm and the return is off the top of my head 9mm is this ok on a garrett to4s non ball bearing??
