new door speakers

well im really in to my car audio and the 1st thing i noticed about the rex is the distict lack of quality in the system and a daft 2 inch speaker in the dash(whats that all about) anyhow, while the door cards were off iv uprated the front with some bose mids, rockford x-overs and im gonna get some jl tweeters ordered at the weekend, il post pics as i go allong, i also noticed there is no back speakers? is this normal or have they been removed?

Just make sure you fit the dash panels properly, ratting puts a real damper on your music !!!! Trust me !!

iv got loads of dynamat im only gonna put it where it needs to be tho as some people go crazy with it and add unecassary weight to the car,

Have you got seats or bins in the back? Mine has the seats with 6X8 speakers behind the grilles but some models dont have rear speakers. You can always get the grilles and metal fixing brackets if you really wanted rear speakers and keeping the stock look too!

the magnets on those must be small the focals i had ,had to  hav a 5mm spacer made up to clear the glass? as for rear speakers yes they do come as standard i tock those out to stage the front speakers correctly as for dynomat i put a square on the outside door skin also makes the door sound less tiny when you slam the door!!

the bose onesare pretty flat, thats why i used them as the jl\'s touched the glass
mine dont look like its ever had rear speakers in it, theres nothing behind the holes to put them in, it has seats in the back for all its worth lol

mine had seats and little storage pockets, i changed the pockets for grill and bought some speakers (6x8) and frames (they are installed but not wired up, lol how many months down the line).  you will def have the mountings for the frames, fairly easy to get hold of.

I had speakers in the back of both of my rexes. I think they were 7" x 4" or something

Also had some component fitted in the front with the tweeters set to reflect off the windscreen which gave a good spread.

I\'m not a car audio man though so i probs did it all wrong!

Also i have a centre speaker in this dash that i didn\'t have in my first rex!!
