Weird whistling noise

Hi all,
 
Whenever i put my foot down (not hard, just al the time), there\'s a weird whistling noise coming from the engine bay.
 
It sounds like the noise you get through the crack in your front door in strong winds!
 
Any ideas?

Possibly the sound of the turbo\'s spooling?? How loud is it?

Its not fantastically loud.
 
Just found a hose that is quite loose and looks like i now have a petrol leak too!

Sounds more like a boost leak if its a new noise, esp if heard at stand still reving engine.

Either boost leak or turbo noise.  Is it a new noise ?

When the turbos spin in their housing, the rpm is very high and you get a whistling noise produced by the bearings and moving parts.
