The BOV hose connects to the surge tank pressure.. wheres that? is the AST the same thing??

Does a after market oil catch can replaces a stock one? or is it a standalone modification?

Thanks a lot... as you can see I\'m a complete novice when it comes to engines!:D

Fishy

OK in order of asking.

1, Cannot remember about the BOV.
2, The AST is for taking air bubbles out of the water system. It should be a little black tank connected to the radiator. Might have been upgraded to a stainless steel version.
3, There is no stock oil catch tank, thus making it a standalone modification.

Doesnt the BOV just vent from the top of the y-pipe? only other connection is a vacuum hose to the plenum??

Been a while since I looked!

I\'m thinking of getting a Blitz one... so needed to know where the hose should go from the top of the BOV... I have a single turbo with a ARC intercooler, so I\'m gonna fit it to the I/C pipe closest to the plenum.

Thx

Fishy

Martin, the dump valve you have fitted at present will also have a hose coming off of it, just use that.
